Cherry Hill Park Preferences
May be going to Washington DC in September. Anyone have a preferred site in Cherry Hill Park? Is the transportation to Mall good? Other campgrounds in the area? Thanks.

Agree that most of their sites are fine. We found it easier to drive to the metro station down the road and leave our truck there. Cost about the same as adding in the bus ride from the park itself, and more convenient for us. Each day they have a small seminar about getting around the city, and what there is to do. Worth attending.
there may be other parks, but this one, although pricy, makes the visit easier.
You don't need to get a trolley pass if you don't want to- the metro is extensive and easy to use. We just used the metro to get every where.
