Cherry Hill Park Preferences
May be going to Washington DC in September. Anyone have a preferred site in Cherry Hill Park? Is the transportation to Mall good? Other campgrounds in the area? Thanks.

We liked the upper or back section with the woods behind our site. You do have a longer walk to the pool and front entrance though. If you go to the zoo, get off the metro at the stop before the zoo so you will have a flat walk to the zoo. When leaving walk down hill to the metro station,you will find it easier. You can purchase metro tickets and tours right at the campground. Have a fun trip.
