Cherry Hill Park Preferences
May be going to Washington DC in September. Anyone have a preferred site in Cherry Hill Park? Is the transportation to Mall good? Other campgrounds in the area? Thanks.

We just returned from Cherry Hill. It is a nice CG, very clean, and a very friendly and helpful staff. We were on the side near the bus depot, but everything is pretty close to the depot, and there is a parking lot there as well, so if you want to drive to near the depot from your site, you can. Of course, going to DC you walk miles a day, so you should be able to go a 1/4 mile back to your site:). Anyway, the ONLY complaint about the CG is the proximity to the highway. What a hideous noise! Good thing it was kind of warm and we ran the AC. Other than that, I would definitely stay there again. BTW, the premium sites come with a nicer table, a brick patio and a built in grill.
