Cherrystone - tornado

Why did people stay in their rigs? No RV is made to stand up to a tornado.

We're in shock. One of our favorite campgrounds as well, we're supposed to go next month. Hailstorm first, then tornado hit around 8:30. I'm sure a lot of folks were still asleep. We would have been. Just terrible.

The story is still developing and conflicting reports from various media outlets are floating around as to the number of casualties. Hopefully no more than 3 were killed and that those injured are taken care of as soon as possible. Certainly a sad day for those folks on the Eastern Shore.

Totally sad. The fire chief requested 6 body bags. I hope that the count 3 dead doesn't go up. Love that place it's our favorite cg. We were just talking about going there in August too!

I hear there are three confirmed deaths...multiple injuries. The pictures of the damage are terrible.

This storm came without much warning.

News also said a tractor trailer was flipped on US 13.

Looks like there were turned over trailer and the news is reporting injuries.
