We were at the Bolivar Peninsula RV park last spring. Nice park. Typical of the other parks in the area in layout and site set up. The woman in the office was pleasant and helpful. I see you are from TX so you are familiar with the bugs you may encounter such as ants. They were abundant so precautions for an ant barrier is in my opinion essential. I think I brought home a whole colony with me and battled them for a couple months afterward. While we did not do any fishing we did enjoy the area and Galveston. I thought the beach and water were a little dirty with all the shipping activity there. As mentioned they are a Passport America park too so if you are a member you get a bit of a break on the fee.
