Dead Horse Point State Park - Water?

We will be spending five days at Dead Horse Point State Park in Utah at the end of May. We will have to fill up our tanks with water before arriving at the park; could someone recommend a good place to fill up with water in Moab? I don't mind paying for the water, we're just looking for easy access to the water and of course good clean water.

  • I was just there (and filled up at my previous stop, so I cannot help you). But, I sort of pictured pit toilets and meager spigots. They have a brand new building with individual bathrooms, each with sink and toilet. They also have a dishwashing sink. Lovely place!

BTW,there is also a dump station for when you are leaving.

For those that may not know; City Market is a Kroger Company so your Kroger, Fry's, Smith's, Dillion's, etc. card will work for store discounts and fuel points.

City Market is a fine grocery store, too, for provisioning in that area. And it's just up the road from the Moab Brewery, my favorite dining establishment.

  • The above link from the Search is 6 yrs old. Some policies of RV parks might have changed since then. We call an RV park to ask if we can fill or dump.

Archview, as mentioned above is 435-259-7854. Their ad states all full hookups except tent sites so they might not even have a dump or water fill. I think it's best to just ask.
  • The search tool on this forum is a worthwhile tool to answer your questions. Here is what I found.
    Moab water
  • I don't know which way you're coming in, but Archview resort has water. That appears to be right at the road you'll be turning on.
