Direct TV and RV's

DirecTV service guy said they no long will service RV's, that you are on your own. He fixed my problem and canceled the service call. Chris
  • So glad to hear you have your FISH aligned. Are they all facing south?

As a curtsey he replace the reflector that got knock over in the wind and aligned the dish. I have the maintenance contract. Chris
  • If you have a Travler Direct TV dish installed on your roof, then they never would service your system that I knew of. Whoever installed your system would be responsible for maintaining it. I have never heard of a Direct TV tech doing an install on an RV.

They may come out and check your DRV boxes or something like that, but I am pretty sure they will not service your RV system like they would your sticknbrick.

  • Not an issue for us as we use a Slimline 5 Directv HD dish on a tripod. Takes 10 minutes to get all the same channels we have at home and with 150' of coax we can have sat tv even when camping among the trees.
