Exactly......
The whole complex (Disney Resort) was swamp/marsh land that Disney developed
So what are you saying? That just because it's not spelled out that it's safe? Do you need a sign in addition to "Road Closed" to tell you why it's closed? Of course not, you know proceeding could be bad for you. "No Swimming" is also pretty straight forward. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to come to the conclusion that there must be a reason for it.
I'll concede that we live in a nanny society now. People don't seem to have the capacity to think and reason for themselves anymore. And then they are quick to blame someone else for their lack of thinking ability. Very sad really.
What am I say.........
Signage is/was inadequate warning of the danger that existed.....known danger to the staff/employees of Disney Resort.
But unknown to -tourists- visitors to resort
Parents were not allowing their 3 yr old to go swimming......he was splashing in the waters edge when gator popped up and snatched him.
Dad was right there but unable to wrestle his child back out of those jaws of death
What am I say.......
Signage was NOT adequate warning of KNOWN danger.
Hyatt Regency (neighboring property sharing same lagoon/lake) signage is an example of adequate signage.
Simple.
