Eastern Idaho RV park

Change of plans but we looking for nice RV park in Eastern Idaho. Looking for a RV park with nice forest coverage and near by
hiking, biking or fishing.

Any ideas?
  • There's a lot of Eastern Idaho. I was recently at the Chalet in Donnelly, ID. A smallish park with large trees in a rural setting. There are lakes and rivers nearby. Not fancy, but very pleasant.
  • But Donnelly is in western Idaho. I don't know if you are interested in state parks, but there are some in eastern Idaho that have trees, fishing, boating, etc. Central Idaho also has some great areas for this. Since we are in western Idaho, we tend to camp in the state parks in our area. Pretty much all of Idaho will get you those things you say you are looking for.
  • Eastern Idaho covers a lot of territory. It is larger than most of the eastern states in the US.

Island Park in north eastern Idaho has numerous RV parks that would fit your needs.
  • It would help to know if you are going to be along the I-15 corridor, eastern Idaho towards the Wyoming state line, Eastern Idaho towards the Montana border, Eastern Idaho towards the Utah border.
  • Island park/ Ashton area would be a great place to go to do all those things.
Buffalo River NF campground, Mack's Inn, There are a lot of places.
  • We are currently staying at Snake River RV Park in Idaho Falls. Nice park with plenty of shade, pull thrus, pool, etc. Plenty of biking, fishing, hiking close by. Owners are super nice people.
