eastern sierra 395 overnight needed
We are thinking about going south by way of 395 and stopping at Death Valley - Maybe... depending on the weather. Need a stopping spot somewhere along the way for overnight. Suggestions?

We came out of Death Valley and stopped at Boulder Creek near Lone Pine and were quite happy with it.
What we were NOT happy with is the road from the Owens Valley, through the Panamint Valley to Death Valley. The road is very steep and winding, not remotely fun with a 50 ft long rig. I DON'T recommend it.
