Eureka to Redding Hwy 299

Go on into Redding....get into a campground with electric hookups so you can run your AC...It's blazing hot in that area this time of year...

Makes no sense to stop midway between Eureka and Redding.

The horror of potheads, don't wonder off into the woods is all you need to know. Check for campgrounds around Weaverville, Douglas City, I wouldn't just pull off anywhere which you can as there are hundreds of pullout that will acomomdate several rv's. JUST STAY IN A $8 campground. Weaverville is a nice little town that has the historical Josh House the is a neat bit of the gold rush days.

Dont stop amywhere! This time of year the pot harvest is going on. Stopping could get you killed. There has already been a couple of threads on the dangers in the region.
