- Thom02099Explorer IIIn addition to the above suggestions, there's also the Manitou Incline Railway that goes to the top of Pikes Peak; the town itself is also a fun place to visit, even though you're not interested in shopping. There's still much to see there. And that's just the tip of the iceberg...

Not the place I could spend a week - Garden of the God's - USAFA - Broadmoor -Pikes Peak - Zoo - then get on Rt 24 heading West to Buena Vista and the Collegiate Peaks, Great drive and the Collegiate Peaks are just awesome.
JMHO, - ljrNomadThe view from my site at Cheyenne Mountain State Park was amazing, especially at night.
- morphriderExplorerGarden of the gods is a favorite attraction there. I think there is cliff dwellings and cave of the winds down there.
