We've done both Klute and the KOA. There are some really nice sites in the back of the KOA. This was the first time I saw their premium sites with pavers and real patio furniture. Of course the price reflects this as well.
Klute is convenient to downtown and there's a Walmart right next door. There's also a nice park across the street right on the lake for walking/biking/picnicing. My on complaint about Klute is that the sites are close together. And as with any private park in the area, there's a large faction of seasonals. This doesn't bother us becuse we usually do mid-week.
Be sure to do some wineries and hit Montague's up the hill for good Italian and a great view.
