Looking for a place in the lakes area of Minnesota to spend a couple months fishing this next summer. Any ideas?

Ely, the boundary waters canoe area which is by Lake Vermilion which was already mentioned. Very hard to beat this area unless you like a big city atmosphere. This is where I would go for "fishing"
