I personally looked through March, April, May, and June of 2017... and I couldn't find anything available...this was in December 2016...just stopped looking because I have other plans after that. I lived in St. Petersburg for a year while I looked for a home to buy in Florida. Have had the new house 1 year and 6 months. (Gives you a time frame that this wasn't 20 years ago..lol) I also have traveled a great deal of Florida, and absolutely love Ft. Desoto... One of my absolute favorite beaches is "pass-a-grill". The Brass Monkey offers free wifi... and it even reaches to the beach in front of the restaurant for a good distance. The WiFi code password is 1973... been the same password for almost 3 years now. There is also a small beach shack in front of the brass monkey right on the beach. That in my opinion has some of the best burgers ive ever had. And free drinks refills for locals. It's not advertised, but all you have to do is ask and hand them your cup. Important to keep your cup, and free refills all day long.... Pass a grill is literally right beside ft. Desoto... I take the boat between them... but it's only a 5 mins drive...
