We are currently at the Fort and agree the Not so Scary Halloween party is great. Not sure who you talked to, but the don't normally sell the party tickets a year ahead. This past year the Halloween and Christmas party tickets went on sale about May 1. They don't announce when the sale date will be so I check every day about then. We also currently have ten days in the WDW campground for the Chrismas party, plus the party tickets. We bring our grandsons up each year for both. If you are talking about the campground being full, just keep trying, as they will open loops when the occupancy reaches a certain level.
