I'm researching a trip between Richmond, VA, and Saratoga Springs, NY. We'll need to overnight near Wilkes-Barre. I see this park is only 12 mi. off I-81 and might fill the bill. Anyone stayed there?...

I have stayed at all the above mentioned parks and they are all very nice. However my favorite would have to be Ricketts Glen for the water falls trail, arguably the the most scenic SP in Pa. The down side is they don't have electric. Lackawanna SP has many hilly sites at least in the pet section. Frances Slocum SP has nice sites with electric and good hiking trails.
