Frankenmuth, Michigan Jellystone Park

We are planning on taking the Grandchildren to the Frankenmuth, Michigan Jellystone park. We have been to Frankenmuth many times over the years, but have never stayed at the RV Park. Have you ever stayed there? Any pros/cons and information is greatly appreciated.

  • We used to go there every year, it haven't been in several since he kids got older.

Sites are smaller and no firepits at the sites but it is very close to town. Typical jellystone lots of stuff for the kids to do

  • Have been there with the RV.Net group a long time ago. A coke of times.
    Was nice than.
  • Was there last year. Nice park, probably the best in the vicinity. A little pricey, but it is a tourist area.
  • We have stayed at pine Ridge RV campground just south of town I would go back. Clean and nice people.

Pine Ridge is a nice campground and less than 5 miles south of Frankenmuth but if one of your requirements is that your kids have something to do while at the campground then I would say Jellystone is a better choice for that...
  • Thanks for the replies....looks like we will be going to Jellystone. I'll post how our trip went...

  • You can't have ground fires there - but you're allowed to bring a fire pit and have one that way. The pool and playground are nice - we stayed in the off season so there weren't any activities for the kids at the time.
  • Thanks for the replies...We just returned from 2 nights/3 days at the Frankenmuth, Michigan Jellysone park. Grandchildren, DW and I had a great time. The park wasn't even half full, so there was plenty of room. Although some of the sites are tight, it was never a problem. The staff spaced the RV's so everyone had room. There was plenty for the kids to do. I have to say....the entire park was spotless! The indoor pool was definitely a big hit with the Grandchildren. The entire staff was friendly and helpful and made sure our stay was pleasant.

I can't say enough about Frankenmuth....a beautiful, clean city with something for everyone.

We will be going back to Jellystone in the near future...
