I dont remember when they were to begin breaking ground for the new solar farm up by plomosa (maybe '15?), but if they are out there grading, find somewhere else.
When they put in the last solar farm over in Ca. the rate of valley fever skyrocketed during and afterwards. The fungus is in the dirt and they will be moving and exposing a LOT of dirt getting every thing level.
you are always at risk of getting valley fever in the southwest. the risk goes up in dust storms and way up when a lot of dirt is moved by construction. there's plenty online about the solar plant in Ca. and the valley fever outbreak. clicky
Another aspect to consider is 4 wheeling on atvs. If you are breathing dust from the atv in front of you, you are more than likely breathing spores.
