Ft. Desoto , big rigs
We have reservations for this July in the 100 section of Ft. Desoto for 4 nights... I was just on Google streets and following the street view around to see a lot of signs stating - LOW HANGING LIMB...

All the roads are like that. Even worse. I have written letters trying to describe the point of view trying to access the campsite in a modern RV. They say they are protecting the hammock. BS. there are thousands and thousands of trees.
Just cut down the ones with decades old scars on them.
As far as the cash cow running dry; I think that's part of the problem. They stay full no matter what. If the trees keep out big rigs, they don't care. It's being run by county employees who could care less.
I guarantee you the head of Parks and Recs is buddies with someone on the County Commision who has never driven a 35' fiver thru it.
