When I travel I-10 I almost always stop at Buccaneer State Park in Waveland, MS. It was totally flattened by hurricanes awhile ago so everything is new and first rate. Many FHU sites, beach within walking distance, nearby casino (with great buffet) and more.
There are RR tracks nearby. The trains never bothered me but I know they do some.
