Galveston, TX
Looking to go to Galveston and wondering if any campgrounds within walking distance to activities or if public transportation is nearby. Any help is appreciated.

Most of the RV Parks with beach access are on the west end of the island and are not near the main tourist areas. Sandpiper is on the east end, Dellanera, Galveston State and Jamaica Beach are on the west. If you will go here, I think you will find that almost none of their bus routes will work for you.
