Gatlinburg

We love Smoky Bear. On the "quiet side" of Gatlinburg. Very clean and owners live on premise. Pool and hot tub. Easy drive to Gatlinburg and there is a cut off if you want to avoid traffic and go directly to Pigeon Forge. Love it!

X2 for Twin Creeks for reason mentioned here (trolley) and also it's a nice quiet park, with pool and the creeks are pretty.

WE stay at Twin Creeks just outside Gatlinburg. Smaller park but the trolley stops right outside the park and you do not need to drive into Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, just hop the trolley.

River Plantation in Sevierville is nice. You can drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg from there.

If you don't pick times with car shows or holidays you won't have much problems with traffic I'm live 20 minutes near area I seem to be there a great deal because of so many thing to do Like diner shows and Dollywood we have a season passes.

Step one: decide your location (not campground) as there are great campgrounds in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The traffic doesn't go away, so decide if you want to drive your RV through the traffic (in and out) or your car. After that, it's easy finding great cg on rvparkreviews.com

Several really nice campgrounds around that part of Tenn. Go to rvparkreviews and check all of them.

you best place with a lot of choice is Pigeon Forge just minutes away great prices and great roomy sites. My first choice is Pine Mnt RV paved roads great sites if weather is bad you cross street use there inside pool and hot tub or River Plantation RV park but many more others to choose from good luck happy and safe camping
