Gatlinburg

Just received an email from Pine Mountain RV Park in Pigeon Forge and they say they are fine with no fires or damage but Gattlinburgh is still closed with several people missing.

Thanks for sharing that! We stayed there in Sept of 2015 and were wondering how they are weathering this.

I'm sure glad the wife and I got to attend the Southeast Truck Camper Gathering at the Smokey Bear Campground near Gatlinburg this past Spring. I'm sure the region doesn't look the same anymore with the fires they had. GoinThisAway (Phyllis and Perry) who hosted that Rally lives near Nashville so they wouldn't have been in harm's way. Ramp Digger, I'm glad you e-mailed Smokey Bear Campground and found out that everything was OK there. It's hard to imagine how lovely everything was down there this past Spring is now a charred and burned up ruin.
