There was one or two people on here a few years ago from Gatlinburg. Not sure if you are still on this site but our prayers are with you, hope you got out safe!!!

I'm sure glad the wife and I got to attend the Southeast Truck Camper Gathering at the Smokey Bear Campground near Gatlinburg this past Spring. I'm sure the region doesn't look the same anymore with the fires they had. GoinThisAway (Phyllis and Perry) who hosted that Rally lives near Nashville so they wouldn't have been in harm's way. Ramp Digger, I'm glad you e-mailed Smokey Bear Campground and found out that everything was OK there. It's hard to imagine how lovely everything was down there this past Spring is now a charred and burned up ruin.
