hi! there are many good campgrounds in the area...a great place to start is the white mountain visitor center in lincoln nh. they are the go to place for every answer (well almost).
lost river family campground, in north woodstock is nice. it's on rt 112, about 2 miles from lost river gorge & 4 miles off 93. close to woodstock & lincoln. close to franconia state park. rt. 112 is the "kanc" which is amazingly beautiful.
