Goose Pt COE CG, Bassett,VA

Been watching on Recretion.gov site and at this time there are 19 sites avaiable. 7 on the lower (lake) level and the remainder on the upper. All that I looked at seem fine, the problem is that we are not sure when we will be there. We're pretty sure we'll be there the 20th and 21st and even possibly the 19th. Far too many variables to pin point. Fairy Stone SP is a MUST, at least to see. So maybe a night there and then on to Goose Point. But the whole point of the stay is to find fairy stones. So where do you find these stones?
