Griddle use on the outside of camper do you or don’t you use yours

Have a new travel, trailer, Rockwood, mini micro light came with the outside griddle to put on travel trailer wandering here if anybody uses their or is like me concerned about the safety issues of getting too hot

        nothing wrong with that, it just means they are probably reading and not comenting,  like me when I got my first rv.  then I forgot about this place for a few years before coming back. 

  • I remember when I got back into rv'ing and bought a tent trailer it had a rvq that hooked on the side.  I never did use it like that, I always used the lefts and put it on a stable surface away fromt he camper.  even if it doesnt get to hot, it has the potential to stain the side from grease or what not smoking off.  

  • I wouldn’t be worried about it getting to hot. I set up my Coleman road-trip grill right against the exterior skin of the camper every time I go camping. Been doing that for about 25 years.

  • My Dad had one on one of his trailers... it was pretty cheap. Valve had a problem, they wanted more for valve than new stove... he never replaced it, just stopped using it.
