I've stayed at Grizzly a few times. Two blocks to the west gate and 14 miles to the Grand Loop. But you're IN Yellowstone for those 14 miles. On the way to the loop one spring morning, I watched a herd of Bison taking their own sweet time crossing the road, a pair of Bald Eagles feeding their chicks, a fox feeding her kits, and a male Elk grazing along the road while a stupid human walked up behind him to take a picture. I also saw a young lady complaining to a ranger because she tried to drive through that bison herd and wound up with a severely dented door. Bison have very thick skulls and very small brains. Its wise to remember that you're in their home and they make the rules.
