Gros Ventre or Atherton Creek campground?
We'll be in the Tetons during the first half of September and want to stay near Jackson. For those of you who have stayed (or at least visited) both campgrounds, which did you prefer?

I don't know anything about GVCG, but we stayed in Atherton Creek during the autumn and it was fantastic. It is very well-located -- an easy and short "commute" to the Tetons, except when the bison block the road. (I am not kidding.) This was the view from our campsite -- the Tetons are silhouetted against the sunset, and the clouds are reflected in the lake:
