Gulf Camping Texas Style Port Lavaca to Corpus Christie

Looking for some help here...we will be spending a week or so in Galveston then heading south along the coast of Texas. This is unchartered territory for us, so we are looking for some help. RV Park R...

Thanks for all the input so far....we are not set on Corpus Christie, just the general area. We like to travel about 2-3 hours a day so that fits into our travel plans. We've tentatively set Jamaica Beach RV Park in Galveston, and most likely Texas Lakeside in Port Lavaca although they seem to be a bit away from the Gulf.

Still looking for something between Port Lavaca and Harlingen.

If anyone has stayed at Tropic Winds in Harlingen, any input would be appreciated....thanks....Dennis
