Harpers Ferry KOA

Just got back from our first trip of the 2014 season. Stayed at Harpers Ferry and had a great time. Only reason why we won't be going back is the difficulty of getting out of our spot and navigating the narrow road from the pull thru section of the campground. Just letting people know that if you have a large fifth wheel, it is very difficult to exit. Even the diesel pushers had issues. Other than that, very nice campground.
  • I went there a number of years ago and had to use my hi lift jack to pull up a pits they chained a garbage can to so I could get out. Never again. I drove thru in my car last fall to attend a rally breakfast and it has not changed.
  • absolutely right. We had problems with a short diesel pusher. Unfortunately not many options in the area. While you're there, it's a great park. Just arriving and leaving are challenging.
