We enjoyed staying at South Beach State Park in July. It was great.
Only one thing I found unbelievable. In that huge park there was only one dump (no sewer at sites). There was even a sign at the dump station "Other dumps available in town," so it was obvious that this was entirely inadequate. We got up early enough that it was not a problem for us, but we usually saw a line of RVs waiting to empty tanks.
So true about South Beach. Been there enough to know getting to the dump site and not being the 4-5th one in line is a******shoot. I don't know of any State parks in Oregon that have more than one dump site. Heck Detroit State park has none. The nice thing about the Oregon state parks is the dump is free even if you don't stay there.
And there probably not going to be cheap for long.http://www.oregonlive.com/travel/index.ssf/2013/07/oregon_parks_and_recreation_pr.html
