We left the Hoking Hills KOA this AM and agreed with your review until yesterday. We started having problems with the breaker on the pedestal on the 4th day. I brought it to their attention and was told that if it was popping then we must be using more than 30 amps and need to turn things off.
I told him that we were not doing anything different than the previous 3 days and did not have any problems. He accused us of using an electric water heater which we were not and rode away on his golf cart. I stood there speechless.
The last 24 hours we were there if we wanted to use the AC we could only use very few lights and nothing else. Tonight at a different park, we again are on a 30 amp site using all appliances we want with ZERO issues. I was very disappointed that he just blew us off.
By the way, how did your firewood burn? The wood he sold us and the two campers on both sides of us was very difficult to get it to burn. We went through all of our fire starters then the neighbor came around with a torch to help get it started.
