Holiday campgrounds
Does anyone have any experience with Holiday Campgrounds in Ochlockonee Bay, Panacea Florida? I am looking for a place near Tallahassee for two or three months next winter.

- We winter in Sopchoppy (9 miles from Panacea)and we fill up our LP gas at Holiday Campgrounds. They are very nice people and the campground seems clean and well kept. It is right beside the Ochlockonee Bay Bridge and within walking distance of several excellent restaurants. There is a great paved multi-use trail right across Highway 98 that goes out to the county park at Mashes Sands beach. A very pleasant stroll or bike ride. A few miles down Surf Road (the CG fronts Surf Rd) is another paved multi-use trail that passes by some pretty ponds. Just across the bridge is Alligator Point and the Bald Point State Park, both have great beaches. We have our own spot in Sopchoppy but would not hesitate to stay at Holiday Campgrounds if we needed to do so. lizzie
