I had a similar experience at Kootney's National Park. It was a hot day and everyone was using their AC. It was a 30 amp site. No 50's avail.
Line voltage per my Progressive Industries EMS was 108 and dropping. When it got down to 104, the EMS shut off the power to the coach. Yeah it was lousy without AC but at least the EMS protected the HVAC motor from being burnt up due to low voltage and corresponding high current.
I think next year we'll get the Hughes autoformer for those type of situations.
