We stayed here: Klamath River Rv Park
While the park is not a resort, it is right along a river and we stayed
in a 39' fifth wheel, so you would have no problem getting in. There are other campgrounds in this area as well, all about equally priced.
It was a very nice middle point for seeing so much in the area. We could easily get to Crescent city or Eureka sights and make a day of it.
My review is under buffy, There is more detail there.
The redwoods are just amazing and you definitely will be blessed seeing them, especially if you take some trails through them. What a great experience.
