North Bend COE at Kerr Dam is 15 minutes from I85 at South Hill. After the end of Oct the water is shut off but a few electric sites are open half price so it's about $6 with senior pass. Don't know if the dump station is open.
you are going to have to really hustle to make that in 15 miutes. and 58 is heavily patrolled. some call it a speed trap.
