Just checked the weather channel 10 day report, you are in luck....after today (20 mph), the winds will be between 12 to 15 mph on most of the days, 17 mph tomorrow.
Get out of the cabin & stroll along the beach.
The breeze is what keeps you a little cooler, I remember once on South Padre the wind stopped one night, we had to get into a Mustang to try to sleep. The mosquitos came out of the dunes & were trying to eat us alive (not tent, just light sleeping bags & cots).
A breeze can be your friend, if Los Angles had a breeze, they wouldn't have smog alerts.
