For years when we went to Indy, our tickets were in "C" Stand, 2nd row from the top. This puts you across from the 33rd pit. We always liked it there. We could see them coming out of turn four and down the front stretch. Also could see quite a bit of pit action. You will not see the entire track from anywhere except from a blimp etc. One of our favorite places. We always used the RV park at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Took 38th St. into Georgetown Rd. (which runs behind the main grandstand and "C" Stand. Parked in a yard about a mile from our seats. Walked out after the race, back to the truck, and usually within about 45 minutes of getting to the truck we were back a the fairgrounds. It is also a great location to get the parade and really anything going on in Circle City. A few don't care for the area that the fairgrounds is in, but there was never a problem. There are usually some rallys that also use the fairgrounds for the 500. Good Sam/Camping World, Airstream, etc.
