There's value in campground memberships IF you get a resale one and the campgrounds are in areas you want to visit. To pay thousands of dollars for the privilege of camping in their parks just doesn't add up to me. You can google resale campground memberships and get a whole lot of info. We use Passport America, Good Sam and got a free Thousand Trails zone membership for staying in one of their affiliated parks in AZ for 3 months. We are going back to Tucson this year and will save $1,000 on our 3 month stay. NEVER pay full retail
