It's National Fossil Day - Where's your favorite place?

I have to vote for John Day also. Amazing place. But, here in the west where green doesn't cover everything, you can find fossils just about anywhere. I was in Barstow CA and there is a BLM campground just north of there and darned if while I was walking around I found camel footprints. Now in all honesty, I wouldn't have known they were camel footprints if I hadn't read the sign
