The two above are probably your best bets. Cedar Hill is a little closer but not necessarily any quicker. US67/I-35E are no fun. But neither is any other route into downtown Dallas. A lot of construction going on at the I-35/I-30 interchange. Getting in to and out of the convention center area can be tricky.
