Boonesborough is a very popular, busy place during the summer. There are activities at the campground. You might consider General Burnside Island State Park campground in just south of Somerset. It has many good sites with full h'ups, amenities including boat ramps, 18 hole golf course and good places to ride your bikes. Close to the Smokies as well.
