KOA Luray VA
I planning to go to KOA Luray VA in Oct is that a good place to Camp? Any thoughts on places to go and eat at?

Can't help you with the KOA, but the Shenandoah River State Park was very nice. It is fairly new, but has great sites and asphalt roads and pea gravel sites.
I second Cooters. It is a very neat place for people who grew up in the late 70s!
