Please understand that I am NOT proposing that a motel stay would be a better choice by any means, but where is the justification to spend the same money for a slab of concrete as for a decent motel room, that probably comes with a free breakfast to boot!??
If all you want is a concrete slab to park on, there are lots of places that will give you just that. This place purports to be more of an RV Resort, with amenities you won't get at an inexpensive hotel. Multiple pools, mini golf, basketball court, multiple dog parks, on-site bar & restaurant, etc.
Seems to be pretty popular, most dates in the near future are completely booked except for $200 "Motorhome Suites", (which as far as I can tell, is just a lakeside RV spot with a tiki hut.
That's more than I'd be willing to pay, but then I wouldn't use most of the amenities they advertise.
