3-4 years back we found the Lone Eagle something campground up on the north shore maybe on the eastern side almost ... way up high ... it was by far nicer than anything else on the lake we had seen (and we saw a lot). Can be very windy, but that campground was the best by far. We ended up prior to that at some really lousy rv parks which were nasty and the lake was 1/2 empty (gone). I believe it largely recovered in recent years. lone eagle
