Except for East Burns Run, those are all the normal closures for Lake Texoma for the winter.
I don't understand why the Tulsa District only opens Lake Texoma parks from April 1st to the end of September. Except for allowing winter-over camping with only limited water and no sewer at few parks.
Looking at the web sites - all the parks will be open on April 1st, except for Preston Bend. The Recreation.gov site doesn't show that park as opening at all through July.
Was looking at Memorial Day weekend yesterday, all our favorite sites at Burns Run West and Lakeside are taken. Reservations for Memorial Day and weekends from opening day thru July are very heavy at Lake Texoma parks.
I just hope the rains are moderate this year, and not a repeat of the flooding of last year.
