Lakeside camping in NY
Can anyone recommend a nice campground with lakefront sites in Upstate NY to enjoy some freshwater fishing? Looking forward to a relaxing weekend with the family, just "to get away from it all".

North South Lake and Mongaup Pond... both in the Hudson Valley and both highly recommended.They both have waterfront sites and great fishing. As with most state parks in New York, there are not hookups, but water was plentiful and convenient.
