Okay, thanks to all of the wonderful suggestions, I think we have an entire season of camping planned out!!! And it looks like we'll be making a trip to Carolina Beach for some donuts! But for this weekend, I'm still torn. The top two choices so far are:
1. Sycamore Lodge (lots for the kids to do)
2. Kings Mountain (close)
As far as a third choice, Ebenezer Park is close, and Table Rock SP is close to a nice bike trail if we were to take our bikes. So now I'm going to ask the experts to help me make a final decision! Some factors that I'm taking into consideration are weather, driving distance, and layout of CG. We like a little elbow room to let the kids run around. A fire ring is also a necessity worth mentioning, since I've come across some places that don't have them :-/ I didn't know you could camp without a fire??? We have a 26 ft. TT with a passenger side slide if that makes a difference (still working on figuring out a siggy :-) So, with all that said, does anyone have a prefrence between those CG's? If you've been to any of these places and can recommend your favorite spot, that'd be greatly appreciated too! I hate reserving online without going to check out the sites first! Thank you all for your help! We're so excited to get this camping season started!
